Rec. Aug. 5, 8.15 p.m. LONDON, Friday. "The Great War is over, hut tt^ere is " no peace," declared Mr. Lloyd George, addressing 20,000 compatriots at the Welsh National Eisteddfod at Port Talbot. He added, "The nations are arming tbemselves more clsverly and more scientifically than ever beiore. £1,000,000,000 is being spent annually for a greater calamity and a greater massacre than hegun in 1914."
