Miss Jean Pearce, of Fenton St., returned on Friday from a' week's visit to Hamilton. Miss G. La Trobe Hill, of Hinemoa Street, left on Monday to attend the Diocesan Old Girls reunion in Auckland. While there she will be the guest of Miss Peggy Jacksson, of St. Stephen's Avenue, Parnell. Mrs. Hardy, of Hamilton, has been spending a few days in Rotorua. Mrs. Mellor, of Whakarewarewa, leaves this week on a holiday trip to England. • The hostesses last week at the High School Old Pupils' b: 11 were Mrs. W. G. Harwood, Mrs. ' 1 1. Bertram and Miss E. Simmers. Mrs. E. Johnson, of Ranolf St., spent the weelc-end in Auckland. Mrs. P. A. Kusabs, of Ruihi Street, | returned last week from spending a f'ew days in Auckland. Mrs., C. G." Hodgson and Mrs. Stewart are on a visif to Auckland. During the hunt meeting in Whakatane, Miss Joan Bertram was the guest of Mrs. T. Hogg, of the Bank of Australasia. I Mrs. A. Brown and Miss Jean i Pearce left yesterday on a visit to i Mount Maunganui. Mrs. J. Banks, of Whaka, has left j on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Foote, i of Whangarei, and intends to spend j a few weeks at Russell. \ !
