Matamata, wh'ere she will in future reside. Mrs. Davey received her guests in the drawing-room, which was fragrant wifch bowls of early spring jonquils and violets. On behalf of the ladies present, Mrs. W. Evans made a small presentation to Mrs. Sexton, and in bidding her "au revoir," expressed the hope that she would be able frequently to visit Rotorua and renew old friend-
i ships. Mrs. Evans also apologised ! for Mesdaines D. Jervis afld J. BuTton, ' who were unable to be present, but | who were associated in the preseni tation. A dainty afternoon tea was served and a novelty eompetition held during th'e afternoon was won by Mrs. E. H. Tyler. Arnong those present were MesI dames W. Evans, Saxby, Riddel, i Tyler, Foryste and Plowright.
