THIS WEEK'S SCORES EXCELLENT STANDARD AT ROTORUA CLUB'S LAST SHOGT. MATCH WITH WHANGAREI The usual weekly shoot of the Rotorua Miniature Rifle Club was held at the Drill Hall on Monday night, forty members attended, and the shoOving was by far the best seen to date, 23 members out of 40 gett:ng 60 or over off the rifle. The following are the scores: — G. H. Weir, 66; H. WTiitley, 65; W. Hollis, 65; R. Ardern, 65; W. Bates, 65; W. Winslade, 64; T. Snow, 64; R. Grant, 64; L. Dornbush, 64; W. Chambers, 64; E. Adolph, 64; C. i'. Allen, 63; W. Donaldson, 63; S. Walker, 62; R. Price, 62; T. McElroy, 82; J. McAlees, 62; B. Murrell, T. Middleton, 62; W. Merrinian, 61; F. Stewart, 61; J. Fairley, 60; H. Hardcastle, 60. The Whangarei Miniature Rifle Club has challenged Rotorua to a portal match and this will be fired at the Drill Hall on Thursday, August 4. McAlees, T. McElroy, B. Murrell, R. Price, T. Snow, F. Stewart, H. Whitley, W. Winslade, S. Walker, G. H. Weir; emergencies, Messrs. H. Hardcastle, A. Merriman, C. P. Allen. The shooting v/ill commence at 7 p.m. The conditions are: Two optional sighters, eight shots to count, possible 80. Any member unable to attend should notify the secretary immediately.
