charged with the offence. Iitjurad Schoolboy The Auckland Grammar School boy, I. A. N. Steele, who was admitted to the King George V. Hospital on Saturday afternoon suffering from a fractured right clavicle, sustained in the Rugby football match against the Rotorua High Sehool, was reported j last night to he making satisfactory j progress. He will he discharged from the hospital to-day and will return to Auckland with the other members of the team. Less Local Unemployment. During the past month very little fluctuation has occurred in the number 'of unemployed "in the Rotorua district, and the figures for the past week supplied by the Certifying Officer for the district (Mr. A. M. Robertson) indieate that a drop of 16 has occurred on the number registered as at July 15. The total for the past week was 570, comprised of 87 single men, 312 married men with up to two children, and 171 married men with three or more children.
