Extra Dental Nnrse. Advice has been received by the Opotiki Dental Committee that Miss L. C. Ellis has been appointed to assist Miss L. Ferguson at the local dental clinic. Miss Ellis will commenee duty as from August 1. Tennis Courts Booming. Mr. C. Shove, of Paerata Ridge recently laicl down a tennis court. To form an earth court he carted about 40 loads of clay from his own farm, and also cut 12 foot posts. The court is surrounded with wire netting and it is hoped to plant native trees around the outside of this. ; Mr. Shove made his own roller from sheet steel, which when filled with water weighs SQOlbs. Great credit is given to Mr. Shove, his brother, and the man working on the farm for the splendicl success of their work. Mr. J. Clark has decided to make a similar tennis court.
