TEAM GIVEN A ROUSING SEND-OFF BEFORE SAILING

Rec. July 29, 9.0 p.m. SYDNEY, Friday. Taking with th'em the Bledisloe Cup, the All Blacks sailed by the Zealandia this afternoon. At a rousing send-off by the union officials and friends, the Cup was presented to the manager, Mr. W. J. Wafiace on behalf of the New South Wales Union. In making the presentation, the president remarlced that the team was the youngest and the cleverest sent to Australia, and was equally popular on and off the field. Mr. Wallace, said that h'e was extremely sorry to leave Australia, where the hospitality was so wonderful. Other spealcers were, Sir James Parr, Mr. W. Hill and Mr. L. J. Schmidt, the New Zealand Trade Commissioner in Australia. The All Blacks had a jolly time last night at the Sydney University hall, where they were, the guests of honour.
