WELLINGTON, Friday. The acting-Minister- of Employment, the Hon. A. Hamilton, interviewed after a m'eeting of the Unemployment Board, stated that the board had considered matters which made it app'ear that work on the Lewis Pass Road, between Canterbury and the W'est Coast, would require .to be held up had been cleared up, and •arrangements had been made for the work to he proceeded with.
