The officer in charge of the watchhouse at the Gisborne police station received a surprise the other morning at about 5 o'clock, when a fullgrown weka wlaked into th'e station, and made itself at home in .the warm rooms. The bird must have been brought to town from some part of the nearby country, but i tshowed no fear of the constable on duty, and in the course of a few hours became accustomed to its surroundings. Later in the day the bird was taken to the Awapuni swamp and liberated. Heard at Breakfast Table "Don't forget to get me another tin of Pulmonas when you're in town to-day. Young John was sniffing again last night and I don't want him to get any more colds." Keep Pulmonas always handy. There's nothing better for preventing or relieving colds. A pleasant-tasting quick remedy — Pulmonas 1/6 and 2/6 everywhere.
