CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Charles and Mary Topp, brother and sistei", of Melbury, near Hawarden, have recently been suffei*ing from the effects of poison. An analysis of meat eaten at a meal showed that it contained powdered strychnine, which is believed to have been rubbed in while the meat was iix daily outside, by person unknown. Four dogs that ate some. of the meat died.
