SCHOOL RUGBY
ANNUAL FIXTURE BETWEEN ROTORUA & AUCKLAND GRAMMAR The Auckland Grammar School 2nd XV will arrive in Rotorua hy the afternoon train to-morrow, and will play the annual match against the Rotorua High School at Arawa Park on Saturday at 2.45 p.m. On Saturday evening, the visitors will be entertained at a dance at the High School, and Sunday will be spent in; sight-seeing. The team will leave for Auckland on Monday morning. ] So far, two matches have been played between the two teams, and each has won one. The first match, played at Rotorua in 1930 resulted in s win for Rotorua by 5 points to l Last year, if the local team had beaten Grammar on their own ground, they would have won the right to play Grammar 1st XV this year, bnt they did not pday up to standard, an; were beaten by 8 points to 5. Thii was unfortunate, as the Grammar Isl XV this year is weaker than usualj and Rotorua would have put up j good showing against them on theij own ground.
