(To the Editor) Sir, — It seems that the local Unemployment Committee has made up their mind to d tprive me and my family of our legal sustenance pay for veasons that I do not know. I am work'ing on No. 5 scheme and have a family of nine, six are going bootless to school, the remaining three are under school age My pay brings an income of hardly 4d per day each to live on, with a total earnings of 31/3 per week for three weeks out of four. There are other men working with me, with a family less in number and veceiving niore pay. I have written to the above committee about the matter but received no reply. Will Fome reader direct me to Lhe right channel of dealing with the matter. — I am, etc.,
