BILL SIGNED
(Press. Assn.-
de valera's haste.
— By Telegraph— C'jpyright).
DUBLIN, Monday. Motor-cyclists rushed the Emergency Duties Bill to the Vice-Regal lodge, and Mr. James McNeil (the Governor-General) immediately signed it. The speed with which the final formalities were achieved suggested that Mr. De Valera is eager for the immediate imposition of the duties which is expected to-day, especially as a list has been prepared. It is believed the list will include all the principal British imports, notably coal, 'electrical equipment, iron, steel, motor-cars, dried milk, cotton, and artificial silk. It is expected Mr. De Valera will announce the duties to-morrow, as operating from Monday.
