WELLINGTON,. Friday. Although /no speeific consideration has been gjVen to the question, there is an opinion in Government cix-cles that it might be found advisable for the Minisjter of Finance, the Hon. Downie Stiewart and the Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. A. D. Park, who are at present at Ottawa, to visit London after the Imperial Economic Conference. Ilt is stated in official quarters that 0 . „ ...
any deeision to send both to London will depend lai'gely on what oecurs at Ottawa. One of the xxxost important aspects of Imperial affairs to be discussed will relate to currency, hut it is felt that no matter what advance might he made in discussions on this question, it will he impossible for the delegates to leave the conference, secure in the knowledge that the last word has been said, and that a full agreement has been reached as far ■ as tlxe future of Empire financial relations is concei-ned. Even if Mr. Stewax-t is uixable to be absent long 'enough to perrnit him : to go to England, it is possible that Mr. Park will he ahle to go.
