On the sainc day ballots took place for four sections on ihe Renown tdoek, wnich it part of tne Runowii eoai reservo, neni Huntly, and for three s.- ctions on tui 'l's Kauwhata biock in the Waikato. There were 40 applicants for the iie nown pro* er ties and 62 for the i i KauwThata sections, all seven being ailotted. On Juiy 14 there were ballots foi sec tions on three further blocks, and 199 applicants were received for 12 properties. Ihe blocks were Waioteatua, near Huntly, Koromatua, seve. m:ies I'rom Te Aroha, and Mangatutu, rear Otorohanga, 'ihe average num ber admitted to the ballot for each seeticn on Waioteatua and Mangatutu was elaven, the average for Koromatua being 55. All the sections wert allotted. 'Ihe next ballot will be for sections on the Waikeria block, which will be offered on Juiy 27.
