RELIEF WORKER PARADES IN LOIN GLOTH AND SHOES.

WELLINGTON, Thursdajr. Frederick Perrin. who paraded in Willis Street recently in a loin cloth and a pair of shoes, was again before tho Court to-day, and again asserted that he was actuated by humanitarian motives by demonstrating what the unemployed dress of the future would be on an allowance of 15s a weelc. He complained that despite the- fhct that he was remanded for medical examination he had been kept in & cell like any other prisoner ahd had only bee-n examiried by the prisoti doctor. A certificate from the prison handed in was that in the doctof's opinion Perrin was sane. After he had examined'the clotHing on accused, which the latter- said was the same as he had been wearing when arrested, the magistrate said he would take time to consider his decision. He remanded accused for a week, bail in £20 being rnllowed. The charge is one of behaving in a disorderly manner in Willis Street.
