ROAD CYCLING

TO-MORROW'S THIRTY-FIVE MILE CYCLE RACE STARTERS AND HANDICAPS To-morrow's road cycle race for members of the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club will commence at Arawa Park at 2 p.m. and will cover a return course to the turnoff to Waiotapu on the Taupo Road, the distance being approximately 35 miles. Eight entries have been received for the race, the entrants and handicaps being as follows. N. Howe (scr.), G. Haycock (lniin.), R. Dawson (2min.), C. Head (2Jmin.), J. McCall (3min.), R .Hehry (4min.), G. Dahlin (8min.), H. Howe (lOmin.). Motorists using Fenton Street and the Rotorua-Taupo main highway are requested to use care when negotiating corners and to accord the cyclists the right of th'e road when possible.
