The Government meteorologist iasued the following weather report and forecast last night: — General situation: Pressure is decreasing over the New Zealand area, but is still considerably lower to the east than to the west. Forecast: Winds southerly to southwesterly still prevailing, moderate to fresh, but decreasing.
