At the monthly meeting of tbe W.C.T.U. recently held in St. John's hall, Mrs. Thompson (mayoress) , presided over a large attendance. During the aftetnoon Mrs. McDiarmid gave a very interesting address. A solo was rendered by Miss Valerie Thompson, accompanied by Mrs. C. Hambly. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs. Hird and Miss E.
