THURSDAY, FRIDAY.
"Many Waters," a specially produced talkie adaptation of Monckton Hoffo's human drama is notable for a first class performance by Eliza.heth Allen. She reveals great proniise and personality in the rol'e of a daughter of just an ordinary couple who drift into a great tragedy. "Many Waters" has been ^kilfully produced, is extremely well acted. Lilian Ilall Davis and Arthur Margetson give moving performances as the married couple wrho stick together through adversity and they are well backed up by a competent cast. The unquenchable nature of human love is the idyllic theme on which this picture is developed. "Many Waters" is a panorama of domestic rise, fall'and survival, and on this simple dramatic structure a lyric of love has been composed; the hurnanly outlined spectacle of human trustfulness, lts sadness and eternal happiness has a charm in itself.
