VOLUNTARY SALARY CUTS

Kec. July 17, 7.15 p.m. WASHINGTON, Saturday. An unprecedented economy move ; by Mr. Herbert Hoover, was the voluntary reduetion in his salary of 20 I per cent. 60,000 dollars per annum. j Simultaneously the Vice-President, Mr. Curtls and nine Cabinet Ministers have reduced their salaries 15 per cent, 12,750 dollars.
