Rec. July 17, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Saturday. The death is announced of Lord Plumer, aged 75 years. Lord Plumer underwent an operation in February and improved until recently. The King's message of condolence said: "My people throughout the Empire mourn with me the loss of one whom history -\vill remember as a distinguished commaader . and great administrator. The burial will take pla«?e at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday.
