LOS ANGELES, Friday. | The New Zealander, Elliott, in the 100 metre dash, was timed to do 10 4-5 seconds. Elliott is suffering from shin soreness, but is reeeiving electric massage. The New Zealand eight have settled down to solid work, and are rowing twice daily on the 2000 metre Olympic course at Long Beach. The coach expects a big improvement within a week. The new boat is found excel: lently suitable for the Stadium course.
