BRISBANE, Friday. The captains in to-morrow's second Rugby Test between Australia and New Zealand have expressed the following views: — .Tom Lawton (Australia) said: "I think we will win. We will be up against a tough proposition, but our boys are all oh their toes, and I think we can manage a bit better than we did at Sydney, although it will not be easy. It should be a great game." F . D. Kilby (New Zealand) is very optimistic this time. "There has been great improvement in our team-work and general form. Naturally, we are determined to do our best to win this match. I am sure we can put up a better game than in the first Test at Sydney." Mr. W. J. Wallace (the All Blacks manager) in a special interview, exelusive to New Zealand papers, says: — "The tourists have blended into a fine side, and made a wonderful improvement since the first Test. The prospects for the second Test are of the brightest. The backs are excellent, and now showing more confidence. The forWards are playing wonderfully combined Rugby. The handling of the whole team has improved out of sight. The team harmony has made my task easy. The tourists are a happy family.
