The ©ovafhfnent meteorologist lasueti the following weather report And forecast last night: — General situation: The recent disturbance has passed away eastward, and a weak cyclone covers the Dominion to-day; pressure, however, Is still relatively low over the Tasman Sea, while aVi intensive anti-cyclone is situated over Australia. Forecast: Winds, variable, but modferate south-westerlies to southerlies prevailing. Weather: For the most , part fair, but isolated showers probable on the coast; temperatures cold with many frosts. Following are the barometer, maxlmum a'nd minimum thermometer, and rainfall readings recorded at the Government Observation Station by the Rotorua Tourlst Department, for the 24 hours ended at 9.30 a.m. yesterday: — Barometer 29.872ins. Therhlometer (max.) 55.9deg. Thermometer (min.) 33.0deg. Thermometer (min. o'n grass) 22.2deg. Rainfall Nil Bright Sunshine 0.3hours
