BIRTHDAY SURPRISE.
A very happy birthday surprise party was recently taken to the home of Miss Peggy Ford, in Malfroy Road, who celebrated her fifteenth birthday. Mrs. Ford, who assisted her daughter in receiving the guests, was in a frock of navy marocain, while Peggy was in betty blue satin and Miss Helen Ford wore pale pink crepe de chine. The evening was pleasantly spent in games and dancing, the winners of the Monte Carlo being Miss Joan Bertram, Miss Clivena Young and their partners. Among those present were: — Miss H. Ford, Miss B. Ford, Miss F. Ford, Miss J. Ford, Miss J. Bertram, Miss C. Youn£, Miss B. Urquhart, Miss M. Musgrave, Miss V. Musgrave, Miss M. Budd, Miss R. Holland, Miss A. Parlane, Miss M. McKenzie, Miss N. Foggin, Miss N. Steele, Miss G. Sloane, Miss J. Roach, Miss B. Bertram. If you happen to need only the yolk of an egg when cooking, whip up the white for a complexion treatment.
