MICE EARN MONEY
WHEN PERFORMING FLEAS FAIL TO DRAW IIOUSES. Mr. William Newcombe, of Padding-
ton, tiavmg tound that p'erformmg , fleas would not provide him with a living, toolc up performing mice, and chose a white mouse and a brown :mouse for variety. They are bringing in good money. Every day outside the Lottery office and in other parts of the city these mice are to be seen, using their j owner's hat as a circus ring, urged on by the use of a mouth organ. They are fed on millet seed. When the performance is over, they dive into Mr. Newcombe's coat pockets, and eat their fill, and get ready for the next turn.
