NEW PLYMOUTH, Thursday. Cable advice from Sydney yesterday to the New Plymouth Aero Club, states that Sir Charles Kingsford Smith will make his first landing at New Plymouth in the projected Tasman flight. The flight is at present scheduled for early in October. The New Plymouth ground has been selected owing to its size and surface, and the equipment being suitabie for the Southern Cross. The aerodrome is one of the few of the New Zealand 'drornes, fitted with workshops for coping with all kinds of repairs to any kind of machine, and with an' experiencedengineer in charge.
