PRICE LEVELS IMPROVE

LONDON, Tuesday. At the wool saies 9,276 bales were offered, including 2,547 of New Zealand. About 6,800 bales were sold. Strong competition was encountered especially from the Home trade, with -fair Continental support. Prices generally were 10 per cent. above the June closing rates and fine Merinos 15 per cent. New Zealand clips. — Greasy halfbred "Glenfield," top price, llid, aver^age, lld; scoured combing "Curraghmore," 17d and 16M. At Bradford more business was transaeted and prices were firm. '
