CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The New Zealand Cricket Council has decided to adhere to its deeisioir to confine the New Zealand fixtures of the M.C.C. tour to Auckland," Wellington and Christchurch. In reply to a protest from the Dunedin Association, the council _fn a letter, points out that a mat cjr'afT' Dunedin would inyolve- Awo "extra days travelling. It states that in a tour of 15 days in which three* jfirst elass matches have been qrrangeff, the loss of two dayls would , be hn-im-portantvfaetor. Also the tep to* Duhedin would make it impossihle for. the visitors to. see Rotorua. The council is anxious to sho.vf consideration and hospitality- tq the visitors recognising especially the extent to which New Zealand is iride-bt-ed to the friendliness of the M.'C.C. and the county clubs for securing-a visit from the team at all.
