SOME TALL SCORING LONDON, Saturday. In response to the Gentlemen's 452 for seven wickets (declared), the Players ran up 513 at the Oval for six wickets, and also declared their first innings closed. E. Hendren (Middlesex), with' an unbeaten 194, topscored J. Arnold (Hampshire) made 54. In the second innings Gentlemen losf five wickets for 109 (D. P. B. Morkel 53). In the annual match between Etori and Harrow at Lord's, the Etonians scored 283 in their first innings (Hotehkin 109). Clive and Boswick each took four wickets for 54. Harrow, who last won in 1908, replied with 113 for two wickets (Gaseoyne 50).
