-By Telegraph — Copyright).
MOSCOW, Friday. Anxiety is felt for the safety of the American airmen, Griffin and Mattern, who took off from New York on Monday on ^an attempt to fly round the world in six days, and who left Berlin yesterday for here. The airmen are overdue since early this morning. A 'plane was sighted high over the Polish-Lithuanian frontier at 11.40. last night. It is feared that if it were that of the American airmen they might have •been since driven out of their course •by heavy storms and torrential rains.
