annual meeting of controlling body WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Bowling Association is being held to-day. Mr. L. McNab, secretary of the Wellington Centre, was elected secretary of the New Zealand Association, and Mr. E. A. Liddle, of Wellington, auditor. The Wellington members of the council were appointed the executive. They are Messrs Mayer, J. Kershaw, M. J. Hodgins and S. M. Stone. The Dominion tournament will eommence at Wellington on January 9, the order of play being the same as last year. The following remits from the Wellington centre were carried: That in the pairs competition three bowls only be played by each player. Also that two games per day be played in section play in rinks; each game to be of 25 heads in section play, and three games per day of 21 heads in post-section play. It was decided to recommend to the executive that the time .limit he strictly enforced in all games, hefore the semi-finals. The time limits fixed were: singles, an hour and a-half; pairs, two liours; rinks, post-section play, three hours. A motion to alter the entrance f ees was defeated, and the fees remain unaltered.
