ROTORUA LADIES' CLUB. Miss J. Clarlc, winner of the KirkWTindeyer Cup competition reduced her handicap by 2 in Wednesday's match. Miss D. Corlett, who has been playing steady golf for the past few weeks, reaped her reward by winning Miss Snodgrass's trophy for her division in the flag match last Wednesday. Mrs. J. Herrold has been successful in obtaining an L.G.K. handicap. Mrs. Finn caused interest in Wednesday's match by carrying the flag to the 1st green thereby reducing her handicap 4 strokes as well as being the winner- in her section. Miss S. Snodgrass, the club captain, during the week, accompanied brated authoress, who is staying in Mrs. Lees, of New York, & celeRotorua, around the links. Mrs. Lees wras delighted with the links, and stated that she hopes to introduce Arikikapakapa into her n'ext articles. The entries are on the. eve of closing for the local ladies' championships, and some interesting games may be expected.
