WELLINGTON, Saturday. ] The New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association, at last week's conference, agreed to resolutions which will materially assist returned Maori soldiers. o An appeal was made by Major R. j I. Dansey, president of the Rotorua j Returned Soldiers Association, that ^ a definite sum should be set* aside* to t .meet the needs of Maori returned sol- j diers in isolated parts of New Zea- ; land, who had no opportunity of join- I ing up with the Returned Soldiers' ; Association. i A resolution to this effect was pass- j ed. | When a deputation from Floek j House waited upon the Conference, Major Dansey stated it would greatly assist the Maoris, at Flock House if a definite allocation could be made for the sons of returned Maori 'soldiers. This was agreed to and room is to be made at Flock House for five sons of Maori soldiers, representing different areas in the Dominion.
