SYDNEY, Saturday. Mr. -B. S. Stevens, the State Premier, apnounced that the State deficit f-or the financial year was £13,253,347. ; This is £7,843,347 greater than that allowed for in the Premiers' Plan I and is £2-508,347 in excess of the Treasury officerss' estimate, announced three days ago. MELBOURNE, Saturday. Sir Stanley' Argyle, Premier, announced that the Victorian deficit is £1,610,000. • This was the sum allowed in the Premiers' Plan. I BRISBANE, Saturday. The revenue totalled £12,994,112 and the expenditure £15,069,29*2,' leaving a deficit of £2,075,180. " PERTH, Saturday. The Western Australian deficit for the year is £1,557,895, being £2,105 iless than the amount allowed for iq !the Premiers' Plan. ? HOBART, Saturday. It is expected that the Tasmanian deficit will be about £260,000.
