CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. j As a sequel to a disturbahce oufc side Lancaster Park on May 7 during ; the tramway strike James Duncafi j Bourk (37) painter, was charged toI day with assaulting Henry Victor j Laing, a yoluntary conductor, and j causing his death, thereby cOmmitl ' ting manslaughter. } He was remanded till July 7. Bail j was allowed. ■ J i The police said Laing received a : blow and later died in hospitai. tfc ' was alleged that accused- struck the i blow.
