definite results from empire sales . campaign

-Bv Tttleers nti— -Convrieht).

Rec. July 1, 1.27 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. The annual report of the Empire Imports Board says: "Despite the public's diminishing buying power, new records have been established in quantities of imports of 25 Empire products, including Australian wheat, flour, pork, butter and eggs, and New Zealand lamb and. butter. "The 'Buy British Goods' campaign has definitely increased the public's determination to buy British goods. The policy of canvassing retailers has been highly successful. For six months personal calls made in the principal Lancashire towns have resulted in the proportion of seilers of Empire butter raising from 56 per cent to 73 per cent. The consumption of New Zealand butter in certain districts has doubled in two years."
