MISS L. COPPLESTONE AND AQUA-PLANE TRIP
— By Telograph— OopyntrM).
LONDON, Wednesday. The New Zealand girl swimmer, Miss Lily Copplestone, said the last two miles of the aqua-plane trip across the Ghannel was agony, because of the strain on her limbs. The plane even hounced out of the water and she found difliculty in maintaining her balance, and also felt faintly seasick. Miss Copplestone is training for her channel swim in August, and she expects shortly to swim the Solent, where the sea is very choppy.
