Button Winners. The button winners this week among the lady memhers of the Rotorua Miniatur-e Rifle Club are: A grade, Miss D. Adolph; B grade, Miss Pike and Miss Yuill, tied; C grade, Miss R. Owens; D grade, Mrs. Wishnowsky. Winter Show Prizes. A special meeting of the executiye committee of the Rotorua A. and P. Association was held on Tuesday evening to finalise matters in connection with the Winter Show. Prize money to the amount of £113 was passed for payment, exclusive of ahout £9 for the children's seetion. The seeretary reported that entries in most sections were almost double those of last year. All trophy prizes are to be paid in cash. Ladies* Medal Handicap. The hest cards returned in" the ladies' medal handicap competition at the Rotorua Golf Club's course yesterday were: A grade, Miss Moon, 93 — 18 — 75; Mrs. La Trobe Hill, 95 — 13 — 82; B grade, 1st div,, Mrs. Worthington, 96 — 19 — 77, Mrs. Walden, 102 — 24 — 78, Mrs. J. Sherriff, 100 — 22 — 78; B grade, -2nd div., Mrs. Ormsby, 102 — 29 — 73, Miss G. La Trobe Hill, 108—30—78, Mrs. Kelly, 107—29—78. Busy Native Pa Ohinemutu Pa presented quite an animated appearance last night on the occasion of the welcome to the visitors from Tokaanu and the Far North. Many pakehas were also attracted by the novelty of the gathering and the Tamate-kapua meeting house was crowded to the doors. On the other side of the square, busy preparations for the supper were in hand and th'e approaches to the meeting house were thronged by those unable to gain entrance.
