THEFT OF GELIGNITE

AUCKLAND, Monday. Two seamen, Harry Collins, aged 52, and Peter Kelly, aged 53, were to-day both convicted of the theft of a 501b case of gelignite, valued at £5 from the Government relief camp at Mangatawhiri, near Pokeno, on May 27, and sent to gaol, Collins for six months, to be followed by reformative detention for twelve months, and Kelly for six months' imprisonment with hard labour.
