AUCKLAND; Saturday. From the description given of the sea monster seen hy the skipper of the trawlef Dorothy M, Mr. L. T. Griffin, assistant-director at the' Auckland Museum, believes that the sp'ecimen was a hlackfish, which have been known to exceed 20ft in length. Mr. Griffin said the blackfish was a timid mammal and probably the proximity of the trawler made it rise in the water.
