LONDON, Thursday. When the All-England lawn tennis chariipionships were continued ."at Wimbledon, E. D. Andrews and C. E: Malfroy (New Zealand) were de-, feated by H. G. N. Lee and H. K. Lester in the first round .of th?e 'loubles. The match, whieh ran into four sets, was an affair of baselirie driving, lobbing and sinashing. Mrs. Helen Wills-Moody won tlje third round, beating Miss - Bower 6—1, 6—0. - In the men's singles Menzel beat ITughes 8 — 6, 1—6, 6 — 4, 6 — 2.
