AMATEUR CYCLING
R5DERS AND HANDICAPS FOR TO-MORROW.'S RACE. A further road cycle race will be held by the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club on Saturday afternoon in conneetion with the Norton Cup recently presented by Mr. E. C. Adolph for competition in this branch of the club's aetivities. The course chosen for this race commences at the junction of Te Ngae Road and Fenton Street, and covers a return course to the turn-off to Tikitere, finishing .at the same point as the start. The race is timed to start at 2.15 p.m., and motorists using the roads in this area are requested to lceep a sharp look-out for the cyclists when negotiating hends in the road. The following handicaps have been declared for the race: — N. Howe, scr.:„ S. Ilowe, Imin lOsec.; G. Haycock, 2 min. 30sec.; R. Henry, 2min 45sec.; H. Howe, 4min lOsec.; J. McCall, 5min.
