LONDON, Thursday. At a snecially summoned meeting of the General Commission of the Disarmament Conference at Geneva the delegates discussed America's proposals, whieh were simultaneously made puhlic in Washington. Mr. Hugh Gibson (Ameriean delegate), said he hoped the proposals whieh represented suhstantially th^ instructions given hy Mr. Hoover for the guidance of the Ameriean delegates, would lead' other nations to state openly how much they would contribute to a general programme leading to real disarmament.
