MISS JAMES COMPLETES NORTH TO SOUTH TRAMP INVERCARGILL, Monday. Miss Esther James, who completed her walk through New Zealand, when she arrive'd at Bluff on Saturday afternoon, has received a number of congratulatory. telegrams on the cornpletion of her 1,600 mile tramp. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates' messqge states that as a New Zealand womqn, Miss JTames is to be commended for her grit and determination. He added that he will take up with the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, her request for a walking tour through England for the purpose of advei'tising New Zealand goods.
