QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT LEAVES BALANCE OF £1,600,000

BRISBANE, Saturday. "My only regret is that there should be a change of Government when so much has been done under the Premiers' " Plan to overcome the financial difficulties with which Australia is faced," said Mr. A. L. Moore on vacating office. The late Government left the incoming administration a net cash balance of £1,600,000 after providing for all deficits.
