Rec. June 19, 6.40 p.m. CHICAGO, Saturday. A delegation of the citizens' committees, headed by the Mayor, Mr. Cermak, will await upon tbe' Federal Reconstruction Finance Corporation at Washington next Tuesday to ask for a loan exceeding 36,000,000 dollars, and possibly for loans totalling 130,000,000 dollars, to lceep the city solvent, and to pay public employees who now have due to them the'fofmer amount. Accountants and auditors have been busy during the week computing the amount of "pressing- necessities." ■ . The local Government agencies and the Central Public Institution, • suggeSt that tuberculosis sanatoriums and vafious other hospitals are e'stimated' to require for the remainder of the year 81,000,000 dollars. ' The Mayor' inforihed the city council to-day that they must ask the Fedderal Legislature to make th:e loan, "We need immediately 130,000,000 dollars," he said, "and if we "cannot borrow the money, we are sunk."
