Inside Johnnie, a small monkey In a private zoo at Chessington, Surrey, England, is a diamond worth £80. Johnnie swallowed the diamond, ahd now his owner, Mr. R. S. Goddard, is wondering what to do about it. In the meantime, Johnnie is locked up in a cage. It happened in this way. Mrs Goddard was handing tit-bits of food to the monkeys when Johnnie spr'ang forward, but instead of taking the proffered food he seized the diamond from one of her rings and swallowed- it. Mrs! Goddard immediately informed her husband, who isolafed JohnnieL' Th'e jewel is insured, but the question arises whether a" claim would come under third party fisks, theft or loss. It is hdped that thefe will be no need for an operation on Johnnie .'
