BASKETBALL DANCE
BRIGHT FROCKING AND GAY SCENE AT MAJESTIC BALLROOM Over two hundred dancers were present at the Majestic Ballroom on Wednesday evening for the annual dance of the Rotorua Baslcetball Association. A gay spirit was abroad throughout the evening and dancing was continued into the early hours of the morning. The frocking was dainty and varied, each gown adding its individual touch of colour to the hrilliant medley in the ballroom. The success of the evening was largely, if not entirely due to the splendid work of the committee and special praise is due to them for the delightful supper served. Novelty dances added variety to the programme and the winners of the Statue Dance a novelty which caused much interest proved to be Miss 3. Gilbertson and Mr. C.
